NETA Builds Business Opportunities for Thai Auto Parts Manufacturers 

at SUBCON Thailand 2024

 

Bangkok, 16 May 2024: NETA fosters business opportunities for Thai auto parts manufacturers at the international industrial parts exhibition, SUBCON Thailand 2024. The event, organized by the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) in collaboration with the private sectors, took place from 15-18 May 2024 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC). This year's event is presided over by the Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin.

The SUBCON Thailand 2024 was held under the theme ‘The Global Sourcing Excellence’, highlighting Thailand’s potential as the largest regional hub for industrial parts sourcing and subcontracting. The exhibition brought together industrial parts manufacturers and buyers from domestic and international markets. It also serves as a strategic platform for Thai entrepreneurs to engage in business negotiations with electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers investing in Thailand. The organizers anticipated generating business matching with a market value of over Baht 20 billion.

During the event, Mr. Shu Gangzhi, General Manager, NETA Auto (Thailand) Co., Ltd., outlined NETA's technological vision for EVs and supply chain development strategies, as well as domestic procurement plans to facilitate business development of local parts manufacturers, particularly Thai SMEs, by integrating them into the EV industry supply chain. This initiative aims to drive Thailand to become a leading global EV manufacturing hub, aligning with NETA's operational strategy ‘All in Thailand, All for Thailand.’
