NETA Partners with NVIDIA to Develop Smart Vehicles with NVIDIA DRIVE

NETA has announced a strategic partnership with NVIDIA to develop electric vehicles equipped with the NVIDIA DRIVE Orin platform, which is a newly developed intelligent and high-performance AI system that enhances autonomous driving features. Mr. Zhang Yong, CEO of NETA Auto, and Mr. Liu Tong, General Manager of NVIDIA Automotive Division, recently signed a strategic agreement at NETA's Eco Smart Factory in Tongxiang, China.

Under this agreement, NETA and NVIDIA will collaborate to design and develop applications that will enhance the DRIVE Orin platform to deliver intelligent passenger cabin and greater driving experience. This will drive the intelligent automotive industry development in the future and provide NETA consumers with a safer, smarter, and more personalized travel experience.

Mr. Tong Liu, General Manager of NVIDIA China's Automotive Division, said, “AI is critical to building the safest and most advanced future cars. The combination of the high performance of the DRIVE Orin platform and Neta’s R&D capabilities will provide driving opportunities for driving. Crews bring a new safe driving experience and a feature-rich cockpit interaction experience.”

DRIVE Orin system-on-chip is the core operating system in intelligent vehicles that can support large-scale computing for autonomous driving and smart passenger cabin. . It delivers compute performance up to 254 TOPS (trillion operations per second) or eight times the performance of its predecessor DRIVE Xavier.

“NETA and NVIDIA will collaborate to drive design and development of a centralized cross-domain fusion computing platform for autonomous driving. NETA is also developing new computing systems for safer and smarter vehicles,” said Mr. Zhang Yong. More details of this collaboration will be revealed later.

In September, NETA’s total sales volume reached 18,005 vehicles, an increase of 134% compared to the same period last year while accumulated sales reached more than 200,000 units.
